Weetbix Chocolate Slice: A Delicious and Healthy Lunch Box Snack

This weet bix lunch box snack is one of my all-time favourite healthy snack ideas

Get ready for school with our healthy Weetbix slice recipe! Not only are these snack bars super tasty, but they’re also perfectly sized to fit all of our bento boxes

They are super simple to make and freezer-friendly! Simply cut them to size, pop them in frozen, and by recess they’ll be thawed and ready to eat. It’s the perfect solution for busy mornings!

Coconut Chocolate Weet-Bix Slice

(makes 1 square baking tray)

4 Weet-Bix crushed

50g butter melted

1/2 cup of fine desiccated coconut

1 cup of flour

4 tablespoons of honey

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/4 cup of sultana finely chopped

1/4 cup of water

Prep: Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees

- Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well until nice and wet

- Line the baking tray with baking paper, place the mixture and press firmly

- Bake it for 15 minutes, cut to sizes when cooled

Coconut oil is a great alternative to butter. Add seeds or dried fruits to your liking and you can use more or less honey if you wish to.

This was a big hit with my little man. .I  am not a big fan of snack bars, but this was so good! Double or even triple the ingredients to make a big batch for a back to school ready to go lunchbox snack
